What “Why Mi?” is
Why Mi.? Because everyone has a story, and almost no one has heard theirs sung back. Mi. is a music app where every song is written from a real conversation with one person. Listen free, or Become a Re and have your own song made. Why Mi? is also the album where Noel (Codename: NEO), Mi.'s founder, answers the question in song. He built Mi. as art therapy for one — a private way to turn his own story into songs — and almost kept it that way. But an unshared masterpiece is Schrödinger's masterpiece: brilliant and broken until the box is opened. This album is the journal of opening it, written while Mi. is being built. Its first song, Schrödinger's Masterpiece, names every fear in a row and lands on the answer: this was never for the charts, it's for the person who needs to be heard.

About Noel (NEO)
Noel (Codename: NEO) is Mi.'s founder and its first Re. Mi. started as his own art therapy: recorded conversations turned into songs about what he had lived through. On the album Why Mi?, Noel explains in song why he decided to share Mi. with everyone — and why he believes anyone with a story deserves to hear it sung back.
